Both sides have been playing to several lower-scoring games of late, but I'm anticiapting a much more wide-open shootout this time around.

Seattle won 7-3 at Nashville earlier in the season, and note that the Preds have seen the total go OVER in eight of their last 12 (dating to last year) in trying to avenge a home loss as a fav vs. an opponent.

Nashville just broke a three-game slide with a 5-3 win at Vancouver and I anticipate it will carry over that offensive momentum here.

The Kraken have seen the total go UNDER in three straight after their most recent 2-0 loss here to the Rangers. Note though that Seattle has seen the total go OVER in three of its last four after playing to three or more straight UNDERS in a row.

I expect this to be a wide-open, faster-paced affair. Look for this tempo to result in more shots, which will = more goals.
