This is an 8* ULTIMATE TOTAL on the OVER Sabres/Ducks.

Both sides have played to some lower-scoring games of late, but I'm finally anticipating more of a "shootout" here finally for these non-conference oppoents.

Just an overall great "situational" play here.

Buffalo is off back-to-back 1-0 wins at LA. The Sabres though have still seen the total go OVER the number in eight of their last 12 (dating to last year) off shutout road win as an underdog.

These teams haven't played since February of last year, when the Ducks pulled off the 4-3 road upset. I'm predicting a similar final outcome here as well.

The Sabres are playing well off the consecutive wins, but the Ducks are also playing well also off three straight victories.

I see these teams putting less of a focus on the defensive end, and in the end I expect this faster-paced affair to produce plenty of goals once it's all said and done.
