Total: 218.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
This is a 10* WESTERN-CONFERENCE NON-DIVISIONAL TOTAL OF THE MONTH on the UNDER between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Golden State Warriors.
When you think of these two teams, what's the first thing that comes to mind? For me it's unbelievable offensive players and high-scoring games. True to form, these offensive juggernauts have been playing to plenty of shootouts of late, but for a number of different situational and strong trend based O/U stats, I feel that the conditions are finally right for more a more methodically paced game and ultimately look for this total to fall below this sky-high number once the final horn sounds. It may come as a surprise that the Thunder are in fact ranked 4th in the league in team defense in giving up just 97.4 PPG. And it may also come as a surprise to learn that Golden State is ranked eighth, allowing only 98.5 PPG. And from a trend based stand point, this selection is about as strong as you could possibly as for, note that OKC has seen the total dip below the posted number in eight of 15 as an underdog this year and interestingly in eight of 12 following a non-conference contest. And note that Golden State has seen the total go UNDER the number in 11 of 17 this year after three or more consecutive SU wins and in nine of 17 following a win by 10 points or more. After taking all of the above factors into consideration, it's my opinion that the UNDER is indeed the sharp move in this one.
