For the most part MLB handicapping comes down to the starting pitching and in this case I think we're getting pretty good value on Justin Masterson and the home side. Alex Colome gets the call for the visitors, he returned from the 15-day DL on Friday to hold the Orioles scoreless over five innings of work, scattering three hits, while striking out six in the win. The book is obviously still out on Colome though after coming back from sickness, he'll face Masterson who is 2-0 with a 4.71 ERA, most recently giving up two runs off six hits over six frames in an unfortunate no-decision vs. the hard-hitting Yanks on Friday. At this price, it's hard to turn down the veteran hurler, and I won't, I'm giving Masterson the slight nod on the bump and that's just enough to tip the scales in favor of the RED SOX today.
