AAA's 10* *Cavs/Hawks* Game 1 TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER!
(NBA) Cleveland vs. Atlanta,
Total: 197.00 | -105.00 Under
Result: Loss
Total: 197.00 | -105.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is a 10* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER on the OVER between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks.
For a number of differenet reasons I think this one will eclipse the posted number as the game comes down the stretch. These were the top two teams in the East from the regular season, for the most part each got the job done with a dynamic offensive core that has the ability to stretch defenses with their three-point accuracy. A quick re-cap on how each team got to this point: Cleveland has pretty much sailed through the postseason to this point, despite having to battle the injury bug, while Atlanta's quest has been much more difficult, battling through its first two rounds, but seemingly getting better as the playoffs have progressed. Two teams which entered the postseason with big expectations are on the brink of representing in the Finals and as such, I am expecting a wide open affair in Game 1. A faster game = more shots and more shots = more points. Cleveland has had five days to heal up any wounds, while Atlanta is healthier now than it has been in weeks. Note that Cleveland has seen the total go OVER the number in four of six this year when playing with three days of rest, while Atlanta has seen the total go OVER the number in five of eight in the same position. In my opinion, the situation, the numbers and the trends do all indeed point to the OVER as the savvy move in this one.
