AAA's 10* *Bolts/Rangers* Game 5 TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER!
(NHL) Tampa Bay vs. NY Rangers,
Total: 5.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
Total: 5.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
This is a 10* TOTAL BLOCKBUSTER on the UNDER between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the New York Rangers.
I played the UNDER in Game 1 and the OVER in Game 2, both of which were winners. I then played the UNDER in Games 3 and 4, each was a loser. If you watched Game 4 though, you'd know that it was a definite bad beat as the team's had combined for just a single goal with only eight minutes remaining in the second period. Regardless of all of that, I feel that the conditions are now finally right for a classic, low-scoring grind it out affair and I expect this total to sneak below the posted number once the final horn blares. After giving up 12 goals in his previous two outings, Rangers' goaltender Henrik Lundqvist looked solid in giving up just the single tally. Now it's time for the Lightning's Ben Bishop to bounce back, the big man has a 10-2 career mark against New York, but has uncharacteristically given up ten goals in his past two games to the usually offensively challenged Rangers. So with both teams putting an added emphasis in getting into shooting and passing lanes, it's also important to note that Tampa Bay has seen the total go UNDER the number in three of four this postseason when trailing in a playoff series, while New York has seen the total stay below the posted number in three of four when tied in a playoff series. When taking all of the above factors into consideration, all signs do indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move in this contest.
