1* Free Play UNDER Lightning/Blackhawks.
I played the UNDER in Game 5 as my guaranteed selection and if you didn't get a chance to read that analysis, we'll do so now as the reasoning behind it also directly applies to this play:
The entire 2014/15 NHL season has come down to a three-game series and it's pretty apparent that both of these teams are tired and without question, injured. As a situational handicapper, these are the types of contests that I am constantly looking for, I think that each team will be looking to play tough defense first and then wait to capitalize on the others mistake. I took the Blackhawks in both Games 3 and 4 and obviously feel pretty fortunate to even go 1-1. Most die-hard hockey enthusiasts thought the experienced and battled hardened Hawks would be just too much for the smaller, yet more skilled Lightning, but that's simply not been the case. Tampa Bay has done a phenomenal job in slowing down the Chicago offense, yet has still been able to handily win the "shots on net" department, 25-19 in Game 4. Home ice advantage hasn't been a major factor so far in this series and if the Hawks have any shot at stealing Game 5, it goes without saying that they'll have to clamp down on the Lightning's efficient attack. And the same of course is true the other way around. Note that the total has gone UNDER the number in five of these teams last six together and in ten of their last 15 when playing in Tampa Bay. Lay the price, as all signs do indeed once again point to a classic hard-hitting, scrappy, low-scoring defensive battle, play on the UNDER.
With everything on the line, it's not too hard to imagine another classic low-scoring playoff affair today. Note that five of these teams last five played in Chicago have indeed gone UNDER the number. Consider a second look at the UNDER.
