This is an 8* SITUATIONAL BLOWOUT on the Michigan State.
While some think this one will be a closely contested affair, we do not. Michigan State is a massive step up in competition for the Falcons and with one last week to tune up before conference play begins, we look for the Spartans to dominate from start to finish and in all three phases of the game. Air Force is second in the country in terms of rushing yards, but now obviously faces its stiffest test of the season vs. a MSU team which ranks 14th nationally in terms of rushing yards allowed, giving up just a paltry 70 per game thus far. The Falcons get the job done offensively by committee, including QB Nate Romine, the team has four players who have rushed for over 100 yards. We believe Air Force will be too one dimensional here, Romine was injured last week, which means that backup Karson Roberts, who will clearly be in over his head in this brutally hostile environment, will have little chance of moving the ball through the air. And defensively, the Falcons will be dominated today, they return just four starters to that side of the ball and the numbers which look so good right now are only because of their weak competition thus far. Michigan State is built to stop the run, we're expecting a massacre on that side of the ball as well. Note that the Falcons are just 4-7 ATS their last 11 on the road and only 7-9 ATS their last 16 when playing the role of underdog. And note that MSU is 8-7 ATS in its last 15 at home and 14-9 ATS in its last 25 when favored. All signs point to an epic lop-sided destruction, play on MICHIGAN STATE.
