The Cardinal are coming off a 31-7 beating of UCF after their epic collapse to Northwestern in their opener. Stanford will look to keep the momentum rolling here and to avenge last year's home loss to USC; after the loss to the Wildcats, expectations were dramatically decreased, but with an upset win on the road vs. USC, the Cardinal faithful will once again be riding high. Stanford's vaunted defense is going to be tested by the high-flying Trojans, so the Cardinal offensive unit is going to have to put some points on the board today if the team has any shot at the outright victory. The Trojans have opened the season with two rocking chair victories over Arkansas State and Idaho and will also be looking to push the tempo this evening. QB Cody Kessler is one of the best in the country, he'll be looking to get the ball in the hands of his plethora of playmakers, including RB Tre Madden WR JuJu Smith-Schuster. So the pressure for the visitors falls directly onto QB Kevin Hogan, who for the most part has been as solid as Stanford could ask for, after the opening day jitters, the veteran QB bounced back nicely last week and was also extremely solid to end 2014. We are primarily a situational based handicapping services and we definitely feel that the conditions are right for more of wide open affair today, look for this total to go OVER the posted number as the game comes down the stretch.
