Point Spread: 4.00 | -110.00 New Orleans (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* SUPER BLOWOUT on the New Orleans Saints.
While we wouldn't be completely shocked by an outright upset, we will in the end recommend grabbing as many points as you can as we definitely feel this sets up as a classic "trap" game for the undefeated Falcons. The Saints are 5-2 ATS in their last seven as home dogs and looked great in a turnover-free upset over the Cowboys, 26-20 in OT at home in Week 4, but would give up four in a 39-17 Week 5 loss against the Eagles. New Orleans defense is in the bottom of the league, but the unit definitely catches a bit of a break this week as some of Atlanta's skilled offensive players are banged up, WR Julio Jones (hamstring), RB Devonte Freeman (toe) and WR Leonard Hankerson (ribs) are all listed on the injury report. It's also important to note that Atlanta is just 3-4 SU/ATS in its last seven vs. the Saints at the Superdome. You can't ever count out New Orleans' QB Drew Brees, he'll have some opportunities today as the Falcons defense is not good, it's especially struggled against pass catching RB's, meaning the door is wide open for CJ Spiller to once again make an impact this week. Atlanta has struggled in this spot traditionally, going just 2-7 ATS the last two season's in weeks 5 through 9. Conversely, this is a spot in which Brees and the Saints have dominated in for bettors, going 6-3 ATS in the month of October the last two seasons and 10-7 ATS their last 17 vs. teams with winning records. Play on NEW ORLEANS.
