Total: 5.00 | -105.00 Under
Result: Win
This is a 10* WESTERN CONFERENCE TOTAL OF THE MONTH on the OVER between the Nashville Predators and the Calgary Flames.
Unless you are a longtime client or fan, you may not know that I'm a situational handicapper at heart. That said, I like to remain flexible with my approach and believe that in doing so, one increases ones chances over the longterm. One angle that I always like to exploit is "lopsided" numbers or trends, and that's the case here. With these types of picks, I am not basing my selection on who is on the ice (or who isn't), what either team is saying off the ice or even who is between the pipes. These teams have already played to a plethroa of UNDERS this season, including against each other just last week. Note that Nashville has seen the total go UNDER the number in nine of ten games this year, including in three straight, while Calgary has seen it stay below the number in all nine of its games this season. Some people don't believe in the "Law of Averages", or that it assumes too much, but regardless, invariably lop-sided numbers and trends will natuarly correct themselves and I have no doubt that that is exactly what will happen here. Play on the OVER.
