FRIDAY NIGHT MLB MONEYLINE MASSACRE
(MLB) Chi White Sox vs. Detroit,
Money Line: -103.00 Chi White Sox (Away)
Result: Win
The Detroit Tigers snapped a five-game skid with a 7-5 win over the Chicago White Sox in the opener of this four-game series Thursday night.

I think the Tigers will be back to their losing ways here, facing White Sox left-hander Carlos Rodon (2-2, 3.27 ERA) who held the New York Yankees to two runs on three hits in six innings on Sunday. Rodon has struggled in previous career matchups with the Tigers, but note that they're 1-6 in their last seven games vs. a left-handed starter.

Jordan Zimmermann (0-2, 4.29 ERA) will toe the slab for Detroit. He has been tagged with 10 runs while serving up four homers in his last two starts. Zimmerman was 1-2 with a weak 7.11 ERA against the White Sox last season and has posted a 5.81 ERA in 13 career starts against them. Jose Abreu and Yonder Alonso both has great number against the right-hander.

White Sox are 6-2 in Rodon's last 8 Friday starts. Tigers are 2-9 in Zimmermann's last 11 Friday starts.

8* play on Chicago White Sox.
