Total: 8.50 | -105.00 Over
Result: Loss
The Los Angeles Angels opened this three-game series with a 4-3 triumph Tuesday night, and I think we'll see a pitchers duel tonight with two hot hurlers on the mound.
Blue Jays righty Marcus Stroman (1-3, 1.43 ERA) is coming off seven scoreless innings against Oakland. He has yet to give up a home run this season and has held four of six opponents to one run or fewer. Under is 6-1 in Stroman's last seven starts overall and we can note that he has been provided with only 15 runs of support through his six starts this season.
The Halos turn to Felix Pena (0-1, 3.63 ERA) who fanned eight while holding the Bronx Bombers to one earned run through five innings of work his last time out. He has posted a 2.41 ERA in four starts (all at home and all went under the total) since struggling at Oakland in his first start of 2019.
10* play on UNDER.
