The Oakland Athletics have opened this series with a pair of wins to improve to 12-8 at home for the season while the Cincinnati Reds have won just six of 20 on the road.

Reds right-hander Tanner Roark (2-1, 3.82 ERA) was tagged with four runs on four hits and four walks in 3 2/3 innings at New York Mets his last time out on the road. Roark has compiled a 2.93 ERA in two career starts against the A's, but their current roster is batting .324 against him.

Oakland right-hander Chris Bassitt (1-0, 2.12 ERA) has been solid through his first three starts on the season and tossed five scoreless innings in Texas in his lone outing in front of the home-town crowd.

The Athletics will be looking for their sixth straight home win in the finale of this three-game set, and I like the price we get on the home team.
