MLB MONEYLINE MASSACRE
(MLB) Detroit vs. Atlanta,
Money Line: -164.00 Atlanta (Home)
Result: Loss
The Atlanta Braves have won 12 of their last 18 contest and look like a solid home favorite here in the opener of a three-game series with the Detroit Tigers.

Mike Foltynewicz (1-3, 5.67 ERA) will toe the slab for the home team. The 26-year-old right-hander posted an 8.02 ERA over his first four starts on the season, but in his last two, he has held the Brewers and the Cardinals to a combined two earned runs on eight hits with 10 Ks through 12 innings of work. "It looked like the old Folty," Atlanta manager Brian Snitker said after the St. Louis game last Friday. "I told him, 'You're getting back to where you were.' That's good to see."

The Tigers hand the ball to Spencer Turnbull (2-4, 2.97 ERA) who has had a solid year, but in his last two starts, he's been tagged with a total of seven runs on 14 hits through 12 innings. Detroit has lost his last three starts and is just 3-12 in its last 15 overall.

8* play on Atlanta Braves.
