Yankees righty Domingo German (9-1, 3.66 ERA) has been knocked around for 10 runs on 16 hits through his last two starts. German owns an 0-1 mark with a 5.40 ERA in two career starts versus Cleveland who turns to righty Zach Plesac.

Plesac (0-1, 1.46 ERA) has just two starts under his belt, but both were solid outings. First, he limited Boston to one run over 5 1/3 innings followed by seven innings of one-run ball at Chicago White Sox. We can also note that the rookie will be backed up by the best bullpen in baseball (3.23 ERA).
