St. Louis Cardinals right-hander Miles Mikolas (4-5, 4.41 ERA) limited the Chicago Cubs to one run over seven innings last week. He is 3-0 with a 1.31 ERA in seven career games against them and the Cardinals are 16-5 in Mikolas' last 21 road starts.

Cubs left-hander Cole Hamels (4-2, 3.62 ERA) owns a solid 2.48 ERA in 15 career starts against St. Louis, but I don't think the Cubs should be this big of a favorite in this matchup.

The teams have split the first two three-game sets of the season with the home team winning sweeping each series. I think the Cards will snap that streak today.
