LATE NIGHT MLB MONEYLINE MASSACRE
(MLB) San Diego vs. San Francisco,
Money Line: -146.00 San Diego (Away)
Result: Loss
The San Francisco Giants host the San Diego Padres for the opener of a two-game set Tuesday night. The Giants have dropped four of their last five games and I think we're getting a fair price on the visitors in this matchup.

Padres' right-hander Chris Paddack (4-4, 2.97 ERA) ranks second in the National League among rookies in ERA despite getting roughed up in his last two starts. Good spot for the 23-year-old to regroup here against a Giants team that averages just 2.90 rpg home at AT&T Park.

Tyler Beede (0-2, 8.15 ERA) will toe the slab for the Giants. He was bombed for five runs and six hits in 3 2/3 innings in a 10-1 loss to the Friars last April and surrendered six runs (five earned) on five hits and four walks in five innings of a 7-0 loss at NY Mets last time out.

Padres are 14-4 in their last 18 games following an off day. Giants are 1-4 in their last 5 games following an off day.

8* play on San Diego Padres.
