The Minnesota Twins won but failed to cover the runline in a back-and-forth with the Seattle Mariners Tuesday night. I expect a more comfortable win for the home team tonight with right-hander Jose Berrios (8-2, 3.14 ERA) on the mound.
The Twins have won all but two of Berrios 13 starts on the season and he's 5-1 behind a 2.72 ERA in six starts home at Target Field. The Mariners hand the ball to former Twin Tommy Milone (1-1, 3.10 ERA) who spent 2014-16 with Minnesota. He has posted a 5.11 ERA in 24 career outings at Target Field and the Mariners have lost three of his four starts this season. We can note that Milone has not made it through the fifth inning in any of those starts and that the M's bullpen ranks 26th in the league with a 5.12 ERA.
The Twins are 10-1 SU and 9-2 against the runline as a home favorite of -175 or more this season.
