The Philadelphia Phillies have dropped eight of their last 13 games, and I think they're in for a tough one here at Atlanta Friday night.

The Braves hand the ball to left-hander Max Fried (7-3, 3.75 ERA) who has held the Phillies to one run over 9 2/3 innings in six relief appearances. Fried worked six innings and allowed three runs while striking out seven against Miami last time out. The Phillies are 1-5 in their last 6 road games vs. a left-handed starter.

Nick Pivetta (4-1, 4.93 ERA) will toe the slab for the visitors. He has compiled a 1.80 ERA since returning to the minors after posting an 8.35 ERA in his first four starts of the season. Only one of the last three starts were on the road though, a contest the Phillies lost 8-0, and they're 0-5 in Pivetta's last five road starts. Pivetta took on the Braves on March 30 and was charged with four runs in 4 2/3 innings.

The Braves are a perfect 7-0 in their last seven games vs. a right-handed starter and 5-0 in the last five when hosting Philadelphia.
