GAME OF THE WEEK (MLB): TOP RATED 10* MAJOR WAGER
(MLB) Philadelphia vs. Atlanta,
Money Line: -102.00 Atlanta (Home)
Result: Loss
The Atlanta Braves scored three runs at the bottom of the ninth inning to claim a 9-8 triumph over the Philadelphia Phillies Friday night. They're a perfect 8-0 through their last eight games and look good to pick up another win here with left-hander Sean Newcomb on the mound.

Newcomb (1-0, 2.59 ERA) struggled as a starter to start the season and was as a result demoted to the minors. He has however notched 21 strikeouts while posting a 1.42 ERA through 19 innings since returning as a reliever, and he should be eager make the most of this chance filling in for injured starter Kevin Gausman.

The Phillies counter with right-hander Aaron Nola (6-1, 4.58 ERA) who has had some issues with his command of late, walking three or more batters in four straight starts. Nola gave up six runs on eight hits and three walks in 5 1/2 innings of an 8-2 loss at San Diego last time out on the road and has posted a 6.75 ERA in five road starts on the season. Nola has owned the Braves throughout his career boasting a 2.05 ERA in 13 career starts, but he's never faced the Braves as hot as they are right now.

Phillies are 1-5 in their last 6 road games vs. a left-handed starter.
