Result: Win
The Minnesota Twins look like a good favorite here in the opener of a three-game series with the Chicago White Sox in Minneapolis.
Twins righty Jose Berrios (12-8, 3.63 ERA) is coming off seven scoreless innings of two-hit ball in a 5-0 win against Washington. Berrios is 10-2 with a 2.40 ERA in 13 career starts against the White Sox, and he has limited them to 16 runs over 27 innings of work (3.00 ERA) this season. As for White Sox starter Reynaldo Lopez (9-13, 5.35), the right-hander is 1-3 with a 5.30 ERA in six career starts against the Twins.
The White Sox have dropped four of their last five games and should not stand much of a chance here against an amped up Twins team who will be looking to take one step closer to the division title.
