The Minnesota Twins finished a run short of covering the runline in a 5-4 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday. Tough game as they put themselves in a situation where they had to battle back from a four-run deficit, but I think they'll come through with a more decisive win today.
Pittsburgh righty Joe Musgrove (0-2, 4.76 ERA) has allowed three runs through 5 2/3 frames in each of his first two starts in 2020. He has already served up a total of four homers, which could turn into a big issue here against a Twins team that ranks third in the league with 16 home runs on the season.
Jose Berrios (0-2, 7.00 ERA) will take the ball for the Twins for his second start. He pitched five innings of two-run ball Thursday in a loss to the Indians and I have no doubt he'll be able to shut down a Pirates team that averages only 3.33 runs per game.
10* play on Minnesota Twins -1.5.
