The Atlanta Falcons are getting way too much credit for dismantling Minnesota and picking up their first win of the season last week. I think it was just a temporary spark following the firing of head coach Dan Quinn and that they'll be back to their losing ways here against the Lions.

Detroit has played better than its 2-3 record would suggest, and it has won two of its last three games (both wins on the road). The Lions were dominant in a comfortable 34-16 win at Jacksonville last Sunday when the team racked up 180 rushing yards (rookie De'Andre Swift ran for 116 yards and two scores). Additionally, QB Matthew Stafford has solid targets in Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones, and T.J. Hockenson and the Lions offense should have a field day against one of the worst defenses in the league.

Vikes QB Kirk Cousins handed the Falcons the game last week, and while Atlanta has plenty of talent on the offensive side of the ball, the defense is still a major weakness and I expect the Lions to take this one.
