Money Line: -125.00 Cincinnati (Home)
Result: Win
Money Line: -125.00 Cincinnati (Home)
Result: Win
The Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Indians are both at 7-5 on the season after a 10-3 Reds win in the opener of this three-game series on Friday.
Today the Reds hand the ball to right-hander Sonny Gray for this first start of the season. Gray was 5-3 with a 3.70 ERA with Cincinnati last year and he has the current members of the Tribe limited to a .184 batting average over 81 plate appearances.
Cleveland hands the ball to Triston McKenzie (0-1, 4.70 ERA) for his third start of the season. The Indians have lost each of his first two starts, and the right-hander has yet to make it past the fourth inning. Sure, Cleveland has a solid bullpen, but it could still become an issue as their relievers were asked to cover seven innings in last night's loss.
8* play on Cincinnati Reds.
