The Coach's 10* NHL Total Domination - *Very Early Start*
(NHL) Washington vs. Montreal,
Total: 5.00 | -135.00 Over
Result: Win
The Montreal Canadiens will host the Washington Capitals in an early face-off today as the two Eastern Conference foes will clash at Bell Centre. They met in Washington on Oct 9 in a low-scoring contest the Canadiens claimed 2-1, and I don't think we'll see many goals in this game either.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Outstanding Goaltending - Carey Price is confirmed to tend the net for the hosts, and to say that he's been hot of late would be an understatement as the 27 year old is 12-2-1 with a 1.53 GAA over his last 15 outings. His most recent start was Thursday as the Canadiens shut out the surging Rangers at MSG, his third shutout for the season. The Caps Braden Holtby tops him in that category though, holding opponents scoreless five times already this season, his most recent in the 4-0 win against Pittsburgh Wednesday.

2. Trends - Six of the Canadiens last seven overall have gone under the total and so have five of the last six meetings in Montreal as well. The Canadiens are off four consecutive wins but have managed only five goals in regulation over their last three games.

3. X-Factor - Max Pacioretty is leading the Canadiens with 22 goals for the season but have struggled against the Caps historically, scoring only once over 18 match-ups.

Selection: This is a play on WAS@MTL to go under the total (10*)
