The Coach's Tuesday NHL Sure Shot
(NHL) Colorado vs. Dallas,
Money Line: -138.00 Dallas (Home)
Result: Loss
The Dallas Stars host the Colorado Avalanche in the Lone Star state. These teams sit at 53 points and are 10th and 11th in a tight western conference. Either team could really use a win a winning streak that could vault it into a playoff spot. These teams met in Colorado on Jan. 10 where it was the Avs that came away with a 4-3 win. Look for Dallas to change up the result in this game.

Here are my keys to the game:

Shooting Stars- Dallas has started to play some of its better hockey of the season of late with five wins and three losses in eight games. The Stars will be going for three straight wins in this contest. Dallas has put up 11 goals in the last two games, showing off its explosive offense.

Stars Power Play- the Stars have scored on the power play in three straight games and five of the last six. They went 6 for 11 in the last two, and scored on half of their eight chances in Saturday's 5-2 victory at Winnipeg.

X-Factor- Tyler Seguin, who ranks among the league leaders with 28 goals and had three assists Saturday, has four with six assists in his last seven games against the Avalanche.

Selection: This is a play on the Dallas Stars (8*)
