The San Antonio Spurs visit the Indiana Pacers in a non-conference showdown. The Spurs lost a tight game in Toronto last night 87-82 while the Pacers came from behind to beat the Bobcats on the road in Charlotte. This will the second meeting between these two teams as the Spurs took a 106-100 game in Texas back in November. Both teams are in back-to-back spots but it is the home team that will have the advantage here. The Pacers are the underdog but should be very competitive. Consider taking the points.

Here are my keys to the game:

Pacers improved play- Indiana has won three straight games and five of seven coming in. Everyone gets up to play the champs and this brings just more incentive to compete hard in this game. With a win, the Pacers could move to 12-13 at home on the season, inching close that .500 mark.

Spurs letdown- Spurs are just 17-21 ATS the favorite this season and coach Greg Popovic isn't one to push his older players in back-to-back to back situations-even if it means getting win 1,000 for his illustrious career. Coach Pop has seven more games on the road to think about after this meeting with the Pacers.
