The Coach's TEN STAR Total MASSACRE
(NHL) Washington vs. Pittsburgh,
Total: 5.50 | 120.00 Over
Result: Win
The Pittsburgh Penguins will host rivals Washington on Tuesday, and the Caps are playing their final game of a four game road trip. This is also Washington's third game in four nights, and it sets up a tough situation in a spot that's proven to be tough in the past. Both these teams have been excellent defensively of late, and we should see a hard fought battle in Steel Town tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - The Caps have won the last two meetings in this series, but had lost eight straight prior to that. The Pens have won five of their last six home games against Washington, and eight of 10 overall. Six of the last seven games in this series have failed to reach the total.

2. Hot Goaltending - Holtby has been brilliant for the Caps, but Marc-Andre Fleury has been even better for the Pens. Fleury leads the league with eight shutouts so far this season, and two of those have come in his last four starts. He's 3-0-1 with a 0.49 GAA during that span.

3. X-Factor - The Penguins own the 4th best penalty killing unit in the NHL, killing off 85.7 % of their short handed situations. Their power play has gone cold of late however, failing to score in 15 straight chances.

Selection: This is a play on the Caps@Pens to go UNDER the total (10*)
