The Montreal Canadiens will host the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight, and the Habs are looking to bounce back from consecutive losses. The Blue Jackets come in red hot, winners of three straight on the road, and five of seven overall. Columbus has had the puck luck of late, but I think their luck is likely to run out here in Montreal.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Home Cookin' - The Habs are tough to beat on home ice, boasting a record of 20-7-4 at the Bell Center. It isn't often that they lose at home, but it's even more rare that they lose back-to-back games in Montreal. We should expect them to come out flying tonight, after a tough loss to Florida on Thursday.
2. Goaltending - Carey Price is the favorite to win the Vezina, with a record of 32-11-3, 1.93 GAA. He's posted a GAA of just 1.42 over his last 23 starts. Sergei Bobrovsky meanwhile remains sidelined with an injury.
3. X-Factor - The Habs have won three of their last four versus Columbus, and 20 of their last 29 overall.
Selection: This is a play on the Montreal Canadiens (6*)
