Rogers' NBA Tuesday Night THROWDOWN!
(NBA) Detroit vs. LA Lakers,
Point Spread: -2.00 | -105.00 Detroit (Away)
Result: Loss
The Detroit Pistons will take on the Lakers at the Staples Center Tuesday, looking to snap a six game losing streak. The Lakers have lost five straight, and might not have a lot of fight left in a season where so many things have gone wrong. I think the Pistons are more likely to come to play tonight, and should probe to be better than a banged up Lakers team.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - Despite Detroit's struggles, it has been a good bet on the road, covering the spread in 11 of their last 16 away from the Palace. The Lakers on the other hand have struggled at home against teams with a losing record, only covering in one of their last five such games.

2. Injuries - When the Lakers lost their first round pick John Randle to a broken leg in the first game of the regular season, it was just a prelude of what was to come. The most recent casualties are Nick Young and Carlos Boozer, who will be missed tonight.

3. X-Factor - The Lakers own one of the league's worst scoring defenses, allowing an average of 105.7 points per game.

Selection: This is a play on the Detroit Pistons(8*)(8*)
