Rogers' EARLY *10* Coach's Clinic
(NCAAB) Virginia Commonwealth vs. Davidson,
Point Spread: -3.00 | -105.00 Davidson (Home)
Result: Loss
The Davidson Wildcats came out flat in yesterday's quarterfinal match-up with La Salle, going to the locker room at halftime trailing by nine points. They continued to trail until the final second of the game, when Tyler Kalinoski made the game winning shot for the Wildcats. After escaping disaster, I expect them to get off to a better start in today's Final versus VCU.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Previous History - These teams split the season series, as the home team prevailed in both meetings. The Rams won a close game by a score of 71-65 in Richmond, but they were crushed in the most recent meeting at Davidson, losing 82-55.

2. Injuries - The Rams lost a key player midway through a loss at Richmond in January when Briante Weber suffered a season ending knee injury. They've been in a downward spiral ever since.

3. X-Factor - The Wildcats have covered three straight meetings with VCU, and they are 16-5 ATS in their last 21 conference games.
