(NHL) NY Rangers vs. Washington,
Money Line: -104.00 NY Rangers (Away)
Result: Loss
The New York Rangers and the Washington Capitals split two tight games at the Madison Square Garden in New York and will take the ice at Verizon Center for Game 3 tonight. The Rangers need a win at Washington now if they hope to win the series, and I like the price we get on the visitors to get a "W" on the road right of the bat.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Road Warriors - If any Capitals fans think their team is sitting pretty after splitting the first two games in New York, I'll point out that the Rangers own the league's best road record. Losing home ice advantage looks less important when you consider their 30-13 record away from MSG.

2. Washington's Lack Of Depth - Alexander Ovechkin has been involved in three of the Caps four goals so far in this series, but there isn't a lot of scoring punch behind him. Troy Brouwer and Marcus Johansson for example combined for 41 goals during the regular season but have mustered just a total of one goal and four assists between them in the playoffs. Shut out Ovechkin and the Caps will struggle to score big time.

3. X-Factor - The Rangers have won four of the last five meetings at Verizon Center.
