The Coach's MLB Heavy Hitter - (Bigtime Blowout Potential) - 9-1 MLB RUN!
(MLB) Baltimore vs. NY Yankees,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -148.00 Baltimore (Away)
Result: Loss
The Baltimore Orioles will be looking to salvage a split of this four-game set at Yankee Stadium coming into the rubber-match this afternoon. They lost the first two games by just one run followed by a 6-2 win yesterday, and I think they're coming in underpriced here.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Orioles will hand the ball to Bud Norris (1-3, 9.75 ERA) who has pitched better of late after a horrific start to the season. He's given up just three runs in each of his last two starts while going 6 2/3 and seven innings respectively. I like his chances of building on that momentum today as he's 4-0 with a 3.21 ERA in five career starts against the Yankees and allowed three runs on five hits over five innings when he faced them home at Camden Yards earlier in the season. The Yankees will counter with Michael Pineda (4-1, 2.97 ERA) who is coming off eight scoreless innings at Toronto. He did not fare quite as well in his lone start against the Orioles so far this year when he surrendered five runs on nine hits over 6 1/3 innings of work.

2. Situational - Baltimore has the best batting average in baseball in day games (.312) while the Yankees have the very worst with a .192 AVG.

3. X-Factor - Jimmy Paredes has compiled a.347 batting average over his 17 games on the season and extended was 3-for-5 with a homer and a triple in Saturday's 6-2 win.

Selection: This is a play on the Baltimore Orioles +1.5 (8*)
