The Coach's MLB SURE SHOT - TEX@NYY
(MLB) Texas vs. NY Yankees,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -125.00 Texas (Away)
Result: Win
The Texas Rangers are coming into the opener of a three game set at Yankee Stadium on the back of consecutive wins against the Red Sox. The New York Yankees meanwhile have lost three straight and I think their struggles will continue tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Yankees will hand the ball to Michael Pineda (5-1, 3.31 ERA) as he's coming off his worst start of the year when the 26 year old right-hander was lit up for five runs on 10 hits over 5 1/3 innings in a 12-1 loss at Kauffman Stadium. He has not beaten the Rangers in three career starts, going 0-2 with a 4.74 ERA. The Rangers will counter with Colby Lewis who was 1-1 with a 3.38 ERA against the Yankees last season. While he was hit hard against Cleveland his last start giving up six runs (five earned) on seven hits over five innings, he's been much sharper on the road where he's 2-2 with a 2.55 ERA on the season.

2. Road Warriors - The Rangers are a massive 11-1 in their last 12 road games versus a team with a winning home record and 8-3 in their last 11 games as a road underdog.

3. X-Factor - Lewis has the current members of the Yankees limited to a combined batting average of .200 over 60 at bats.

Selection: This is a play on the Texas Rangers +1.5 (8*)
