The Coach's MLB Runline *PUNISHER*
(MLB) Philadelphia vs. NY Mets,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -134.00 Philadelphia (Away)
Result: Win
The NL East rivals New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies will square off in Game 2 of a three-game set at Citi Field. The Mets won the opener 6-3 yesterday, but I like the visitors chances of equalizing the series with a win Tuesday night.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Phillies will hand the ball to Jerome Williams (3-4, 5.44 ERA) as he'll be looking to bounce back from a sub-par performance at Colorado when he conceded five runs on eight hits over five innings. It was only the third time on the season he conceded more than three runs in a game though, and he's facing the Mets at a good time here with the New York club having a .215 batting average last seven days. The Mets will counter with Jacob deGrom (5-4, 2.75 ERA) who's coming off eight scoreless innings against the Cardinals. While deGrom has been dominant in the majority of his outings this year, he has a couple of stinkers under his belt as well giving up 4+ runs in three of his nine starts.

2. Situational - The Phillies have won each of their last five when their opponent scores five runs or more in their previous game while the Mets are 2-6 in their last eight after scoring five runs or more in their previous game.

3. X-Factor - Freddy Galvis is batting .314 on the year and is coming off a 2-for-4 performance yesterday, including a double. He'll be looking to stay perfect against deGrom, going 3-for-3 in previous at bats versus the right-hander.

Selection: This is a play on the Philadelphia Phillies +1.5 (8*)
