The Coach's MLB Runline *PUNISHER*
(MLB) San Diego vs. LA Angels,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -145.00 San Diego (Away)
Result: Win
The San Diego Padres really came through in the 10th inning last night to book 4-0 victory to equalize this three-game set at Angel Stadium of Anaheim 1-1. The Los Angeles Angels have much like the Friars struggled at the plate of late and I see no reason why San Diego wouldn't be able to run away with the "W" tonight as well.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Padres will hand the ball to Andrew Cashner (1-7, 2.89 ERA) who holds the 11th-best ERA in the NL. He opened the season with a sub-par performance at Dodger Stadium but has been immense on the road ever since and has conceded just three runs (two earned) on nine hits over 13 innings in his last two road-starts. The Angels will counter with Garret Richards (4-2, 2.98 ERA) who was lit up for five runs on nine hits with just one strikeouts in six innings his last start. He's fared better in day-games than under the lights this season where he has a 3.60 ERA over four starts compared to a 2.49 ERA in the daylight.

2. The Angels Pathetic Offense - San Diego may have scored just 25 runs over its last seven games which is six less than the Angels over their last seven. Still, keep in mind that the Angels have a worse batting average (.216) over that span and they have the worst average against right-handers (.227) of any team in baseball on the year.

3. X-Factor - This will be Richards' first start against the Padres but Derek Norris is 2-for-3 with three walks against the 26 year old right-hander since his spell at Oakland.

Selection: This is a play on the San Diego Padres +1.5 (8*)
