The Coach's MLB SURE SHOT - Rockies@Phillies
(MLB) Colorado vs. Philadelphia,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -155.00 Colorado (Away)
Result: Win
The Philadelphia Phillies looked like they had found their groove mid-May building a six-game winning streak. They've been back to their losing ways of late though, and are coming into this contest on the back of four straight defeats. The Colorado Rockies have won four of their last five, and I like their chances of recording an upset in tonight's match-up.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Rockies will hand the ball to Chad Bettis (1-0, 4.19 ERA) as the 26 year old will seek to stay undefeated on the season. Colorado has won each of his three starts on the year and he conceded three runs on eight hits over six innings not factoring in the decision when the Rockies defeated the Phillies 6-5 home in the Rocky Mountains two weeks ago. Overall he has compiled a respectable 2.70 ERA in four career appearances (two starts) against the Phillies who will counter with their ace Cole Hamels (5-3, 2.98 ERA). He's off four straight wins and held Colorado to one run on six hits over 7 1/3 innings on May 18, but might struggle for run-support here from a very ineffective Phillies team.

2. The Rockies Advantage At The Plate - Colorado has scored 51 runs its last six games with a .297 batting average for the third best mark in baseball. Philadelphia on the other hand has scored a measly 20 runs over its last six, with a batting average of .237.

3. X-Factor - Wilin Rosario has had little trouble with Hamels in previous meetings, driving in four RBIs while going 5-for-16 with two homers.

Selection: This is a play on the Colorado Rockies +1.5 (8*)
