The Coach's MLB Heavy Hitter - (Bigtime Blowout Potential)
(MLB) Pittsburgh vs. San Francisco,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -145.00 San Francisco (Home)
Result: Win
The Giants have won 15 of their last 19 overall, but they were upset by the Braves at AT&T Park yesterday. I like their chances of bouncing back here tonight, as they host the Pirates in Game 1 of a three game set in San Francisco, and they've won seven straight as an underdog.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Giants hand the ball to Ryan Vogelsong, and he comes in hot, undefeated in his last five starts. Vogelsong (4-2, 4.24 ERA) surrendered just one run on six hits over six innings in a win over the Brewers in his most recent start. The Giants have won six straight at home when Vogelsong starts. The Pirates counter with Gerrit Cole, who will try to move into a tie with Bartolo Colon for the most wins in the National League.

2. Trends - The Giants have been a great bet as an underdog, especially at home where they are 9-0 in their last nine when the visiting team has been favored.

3. X-Factor - The Giants are 11-4 in their last 15 games vs. a right-handed starter.

Selection: This is a play on the San Francisco Giants RL (8*)
