The Coach's MLB American League ANNIHILATOR
(MLB) Oakland vs. Detroit,
Money Line: -131.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Loss
The Detroit Tigers return home after losing four straight to the Angels in Anaheim, and they should have little trouble getting back on track against the lowly Oakland A's. The Tigers should be able to exploit a mismatch on the mound here tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - Alfredo Simon will be on the hill for the Tigers, and he's got great numbers at Comerica Park. Simon (5-2, 2.67 ERA) allowed a pair of unearned runs on four hits over seven innings in a home win over Houston in his most recent start. He's 3-0 with a 0.94 ERA in four starts in Detroit this season. The A's will counter with Kendall Graveman, who hasn't been all that impressive in his rookie season.

2. Trends - The A's have lost 20 of their last 26 road games versus a team with a winning record.

3. X-Factor - The Tigers are 20-8 in their last 28 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.

Selection: This is a play on the Detroit Tigers (8*)
