The Coach's MLB Very Early SURE SHOT - Rangers@Athletics
(MLB) Texas vs. Oakland,
Money Line: -155.00 Oakland (Home)
Result: Win
The Oakland A's rallied to beat Texas last night, and I think they'll build on that momentum here in the series finale this afternoon. The visitors are sending an inexperienced starter to the mound, so it wouldn't be much of a surprise of the home team has a big day at the plate.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - Chi Chi Gonzalez will make his third start of the season, and he's yet to a allow a single run. Gonzalez (2-0, 000 ERA) went the distance in a 4-0 win at Kansas City in his last start. While he's been impressive in wins over the Royals and the Red Sox, it could be a case of catching the right opponent at the right time. Too small of a sample size to get too excited about the rookie. The A's counter with Scott Kazmir, who is 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA in two starts versus Texas this season.

2. Injuries- There are some big bats missing from the Texas lineup, with both Josh Hamilton and Adrian Beltre on the disabled list.

3. X-Factor - A's slugger Josh Reddick has an eight game hitting streak against the Rangers, and he's batting .500 14 RBIs in those games.

Selection: This is a play on the Oakland A's (8*)
