The Pittsburgh Pirates have managed to win four of six on their current home stand, despite the fact that they've only scored a total of nine runs in those games. They've registered three shutouts in their last four games, and we might expect another low scoring battle as they host the White Sox tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Pirates will send Francisco Liriano to the mound, and he's looking to bounce back from a loss in his last start. The southpaw went eight innings allowing three runs on five hits in a 4-1 loss to Minnesota. The White Sox counter with Carlos Rodon, who is 2-0 with a 2.66 ERA so far. The 24 year old has only given up three earned runs in his last four starts.

2: Chicago's Bats - Only the Seattle Mariners have scored fewer runs than the White Sox among American League clubs.

3. X-Factor - The Pirates have seen the total go under in nine straight at PNC Park.
