The Coach's MLB Runline PUNISHER
(MLB) Colorado vs. San Francisco,
Point Spread: -1.50 | 103.00 San Francisco (Home)
Result: Win
The Rockies have earned a split in the first two games of this series in San Francisco, but I think it would be asking to much to expect them to come away with a result here against the Giants ace today. The Giants rallied to win yesterday's game after Tim Lincecum gave up three runs in the first inning, but the offense may not have to do the heavy lifting here today.

Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Madison Bumgarner will be on the hill for San Francisco, and he's looking to snap a three game win-less streak. Bumgarner (7-4, 3.04 ERA) allowed a pair of runs on five hits, racking up a whopping 14 Ks in 7.1 innings at home to San Diego in his last start, but failed to get the decision. He's pitched well in all three of his last starts, and a similar effort today should get the job done. The Rockies hand the ball to Kyle Kendrick, who is 3-9 with a 5.96 ERA in 15 starts this season.

2. Home Cookin' - Bumgarner is 9-3 in his last 15 starts versus Colorado, and 5-1 with a 2.11 ERA in his last five home starts against the Rockies.

3. X-Factor - Kendrick's numbers are pretty bad, but he does lead the league in one particular category. Nobody has allowed more home runs (21).

Selection: This is a play on the San Francisco Giants -1.5 (10*)
