The Coach's MLB SURE SHOT - COL@ARI
(MLB) Colorado vs. Arizona,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -170.00 Colorado (Away)
Result: Win
The Colorado Rockies have been struggling of late coming in as losers of seven of their last eight games. I think they're looking good to deny the Arizona D'backs the sweep of a four-game set today though when two De La Rosas will take the mound.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Rockies hand the ball to Jorge De La Rosa (5-3, 4.59 ERA) who has been terrific lately, conceding one run or less in three of his last four starts and he's 5-1 with a 2.96 ERA over his last eight. Jorge has been extraordinary outside of the Rocky Mountains going 3-1 with a 1.37 ERA in four road-starts and he's 8-8 with a 2.94 ERA in 25 career appearances against the D'backs who will counter with Rubby De La Rosa (6-3, 4.60). Rubby has also been sharp lately going 2-0 with a 1.30 ERA over his last four starts. He's 4-0 with a 4.50 ERA over eight starts home at Chase Field, but its behind a swollen 4.50 ERA.

2. Batter vs. Pitcher - Colorado has scored 283 runs against right-handers on the year which is the fourth best mark in baseball. They've done so with a 2.69 team batting average and the current members of the Rockies are batting .289 against Rubby De La Rosa.

3. X-Factor - The Rockies have been money with De La Rosa coming in as a dog away from home of late going 7-2 in his last nine starts as a road underdog of +110 to +150.

Selection: This is a play on the Colorado Rockies +1.5 (8*)
