The Coach's MLB Late Show S-P-E-C-I-A-L
(MLB) Philadelphia vs. LA Dodgers,
Point Spread: -1.50 | -135.00 LA Dodgers (Home)
Result: Win
The Los Angeles Dodgers and Clayton Kershaw shut out the Philadelphia Phillies in a 5-0 win last night to take a 2-1 lead in this four-game set. I like them to close out the series with another easy win tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Phillies will hand the ball to 22 year old rookie Severino Gonzalez (3-2, 8.28 ERA) who'll make his seventh start in the big leagues. He's really struggled in the last three conceding a total of 13 runs on 19 hits over 12 1/3 innings of work. The Dodgers will counter with Zack Greinke (7-2, 1.48 ERA) who's off three consecutive shut out performances. He owns the lowest ERA in the majors this season and is 4-1 with a 2.48 ERA in six career games (five starts) against the Phillies.

2. Poor Dogs - The Phillies have won nine of their last 47 games coming in as and underdog of +201 or greater and while the Dodgers are 6-1 in Greinke's last seven starts as a favorite of -201 or greater.

3. X-Factor - Jimmy Rollins have enjoyed this series against the club he spent his first 15 seasons in the majors going 4-for-12 with a homer and five RBI over the first three games of the set.

Selection: This is a play on the Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (8*)
