The Coach's MLB Heavy Hitter - (Bigtime Blowout Potential)
(MLB) Atlanta vs. Baltimore,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -135.00 Atlanta (Away)
Result: Loss
The Atlanta Braves have been involved in plenty of tight, low-scoring games of late and odds are they're in for another of the same variety tonight. I think we're getting a more than fair price on the Braves on the run-line in this contest when they'll take on the Baltimore Orioles for game 2 of a three-game series at Camden Yards.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Orioles hand the ball to Ubaldo Jimenez (7-6, 3.81 ERA) who's been destroyed in two consecutive starts. He's lasted only a total of seven innings over that span while surrendering 14 runs on 15 hits with four homers and Baltimore has lost each of his last four starts. The Braves can counter with Julio Teheran (6-5, 4.49 ERA) who's been decent of late going 1-1 with a 2.81 ERA in his last four starts. He had a season-high 11 strikeouts while holding the Dodgers to three runs in seven innings his very last outing.

2. Trends - The Braves are 56-43 against the run-line overall this season and 33-20 away from home.

3. X-Factor - The Orioles are 2-11 in their last 13 games when facing a right-handed starter.

Selection: This is a play on the Atlanta Braves +1.5 (8*)
