The Coach's MLB Heavy Hitter - (Bigtime Blowout Potential)
(MLB) Detroit vs. Baltimore,
Money Line: -168.00 Baltimore (Home)
Result: Win
The Baltimore Orioles had a five-game winning streak snapped last night when the Detroit Tigers defeated them 9-8 in the opener of a four-game set at Camden Yards. Runs are not likely to come as easy for the Tigers tonight, but I expect the Orioles to stay productive and tie this series with a win tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Tigers hand the ball to Buck Farmer (0-2, 9.22 ERA) who'll make his fourth appearance for the season. He's really struggled against the long-ball in the previous three surrendering four homers over just 13 2/3 innings of work. The Orioles will counter with Wei-Yin Chen (5-6, 2.88) who's been very reliable this season and had recorded seven straight quality starts before conceding two runs over 5 1/3 innings of a 5-2 win at Tampa Bay his last start.

2. Reliable Favorites - The Orioles have won 20 of their last six as a favorite and are 4-1 in their last five as a favorite of -151 to -200 with with Chen on the mound.

3. X-Factor - Chris Davis and Adam Jones both homered in last night's loss.

Selection: This is a play on the Baltimore Orioles (8*)
