The Coach's MLB Heavy Hitter - (Bigtime Blowout Potential)
(MLB) Atlanta vs. Philadelphia,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -145.00 Philadelphia (Home)
Result: Loss
The Philadelphia Phillies have won 12 of their 14 games since the All Star break and are coming into this contest looking to complete the sweep of a four-game set against the Atlanta Braves. They have a terrific chance of winning straight up, but even if they were to fail I just don't see them failing to cover the runline.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Braves hand the ball to Julio Teheran (6-6, 4.71 ERA) who's off back-to-back losses allowing a total of eight runs on 11 hits in 11 innings. He's yielded three walks or more in each of his last five starts and has a 1.40 WHIP for the year. Teheran has been abysmal away from home this season going 1-5 with a 7.24 ERA in 11 starts. The Phillies will counter with 25 year old rookie Adam Morgan who's undefeated over his last three starts going 1-0 with a 3.78 ERA. He's still undefeated home at Philadelphia as well posting a 3.31 ERA in three home starts.

2. Situational - The Braves have lost eight of their last 10 when facing a southpaw on the mound and they're 1-7 in their last eight games as a road favorite of -110 to -150. Philadelphia is 7-1 in its last eight games as an underdog.

3. X-Factor - Odubel Herrera is 9-for-23 over a five-game hitting streak with the Phillies.

Selection: This is a play on the Philadelphia Phillies +1.5 (8*)
