The Coach's MLB Runline PUNISHER
(MLB) NY Mets vs. Tampa Bay,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -160.00 Tampa Bay (Home)
Result: Win
The New York Mets have been unstoppable of late coming into this contest on the back of seven consecutive wins. They defeated the Tampa Bay Rays just 3-2 Friday though and another tight encounter is in the cards tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Mets hand the ball to Noah Syndergaard (6-5, 2.66 ERA) who's had a terrific rookie season so far. Most of his success has come home at Citi Field though as he's still a win-less 0-4 with a 4.34 ERA over seven road-starts. The Rays will counter with Nathan Karns (6-5, 3.37) who's 2-0 with a 1.65 ERA in his last three starts. He has yielded two runs or fewer in eight of his last nine outings and will make his first appearance against the Mets.

2. Road Woes - The Mets may have won four straight on the road but they're just 21-32 away from home for the year. Their 173 runs scored on the road is the lowest mark in baseball.

3. X-Factor - Evan Longoria is enjoying a seven-game hitting streak and is 5-for-9 with a double and two homers in his last two games.

Selection: This is a play on the Tampa Bay Rays +1.5 (8*)
