Washington Huskies (10*)
(NCAAF) Washington vs. Boise State,
Point Spread: 13.00 | -105.00 Washington (Away)
Result: Win
The Washington Huskies will be on the road at Boise State in Week 1, and the Huskies are a double-digit dog. I think Washington isn't getting enough respect against an opponent from an inferior conference.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Chris Peterson - The former Broncos coach returns to Boise to face his former team, now in his second season with the Huskies. He should have a big edge coaching in familiar territory against his former assistant Bryan Harsin. The Huskies finished last season strong, covering the spread in four of their final five games.

2. Line Value - Since opening at -10.5, the betting public has jumped on the favorite moving the line several points. This gives us additional value with the underdog, and those points have the potential to make a huge difference.

3. X-Factor - Last year the Huskies went 8-6, and only three of their losses came by double digits. All three of those losses came against Top 25 teams.
